The prior general, Pietro Dolfin (1444 - 1525) commissioned Andrea Della Robbia to create a terracotta picture window for the chapel of Saint Anthony the Abbot, to be placed at the entrance to the Sacred Hermitage. It portrays a Madonna on a throne with a baby, flanked by Saint Romuald, Saint Mary Magdalene, Saint Anthony the Abbot, and the figure of a young saint who may be Saint John the Baptist (because the others are Hermetic saints), or Saint John the Evangelist, due to the close links between Pietro Dolfin and Lorenzo de Medici and Giovanni de Medici, whom he accompanied to Rome for the Conclave, which elected the latter as Pope Leo X.
